Mr. Akaramakallah, a distinguished human rights fighter and a staunch advocate for peace, paid me a visit. Akaramakallah, known for his fearless commitment to justice and his impactful role as a broadcast journalist on the renowned Brekete Family programme, has been a light of hope for many.
Our paths first crossed over a decade ago, and my journey with the Brekete Family has been a long and fulfilling one. From their early days at Shariff Plaza, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja, to their present location at Games Village, I have been privileged to witness and support their relentless pursuit of justice and empowerment. His visit was not just a reunion but a demonstration to the enduring bonds forged through shared principles and dedication to the media profession. As a journalist, I have drawn inspiration from his fixed support and his encouragement has been invaluable.
It was a pleasure catching up and reflecting on our collective mission to uphold truth, justice, and human rights. I deeply appreciate Mr. Akaramakallah for his visit and his continuous contributions to our society. His presence reaffirmed the importance of staying true to one’s convictions and using journalism as a tool for positive change.
